Affiliate disclosure

The short version

Some links on PointsDog are affiliate links. If you click one and book, buy, or sign up, the company on the other end may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We label these links where they appear — look for the small AFFILIATE tag — and we put a disclosure notice at the top of any article that contains them.

What it doesn't change

• The numbers. Every receipt on the site is what we paid, whether or not a link earns.
• The verdicts. We wrote “skip it” about things that would have paid us.
• What we link to. If the best option has no affiliate program, we link to it anyway.

Credit-card content

Card pages link directly to the issuer. As of the date on each page we are not paid by any card issuer, and card pages carry no affiliate links. If that changes, this page and those pages will say so on the day it does — the sentence you are reading is generated from the same data file that would add the link.

Paid tools

The Card Stack Optimizer shows the best single card for free and sells a one-time unlock for the full ranking and stacks. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. The unlock sets one cookie on your browser and nothing else — no account, no subscription. The maths is the same on both sides of the paywall; you pay for more of it, not a different answer.

Who we work with

We're GM2 Enterprises, a two-person company. We participate, or intend to participate, in affiliate programs run by travel booking platforms and networks. We don't sell your data and we don't run display ads.
